Joshua Stegenga is a Biblical Counselor and Coach servicing the Piedmont, NC area. For 12 years, he has worked with multitudes of individuals, couples, families, and organizations to significantly improve their mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual health. Joshua works diligently to identify where wounds and faulty belief systems developed in his clients’ lives, and curates a personalized plan for healing and breakthrough.

Joshua attended Laurel University where he double majored in Christian Counseling and Biblical Studies. There he was recognized by the Association for Biblical Higher Education with the Delta Epsilon Chi award for intellectual achievement, christian character and leadership ability. He continued his education from Light University with a certificate in Biblical Life Coaching, Gallup University with a certification as a Strengths Advisor I, and Inner Healing training from Bethel Sozo, and Transformation Ministries.

Having a personal history with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, which concluded in freedom and healing, Joshua possesses the necessary compassion, intuition and encouragement needed to see clients progress quickly.

Joshua’s counseling and coaching approach relies heavily on discernment from the Holy Spirit, neurological conditioning and Biblical revelation. He creates a majority of his own materials and resources, and works hard to curate a personal approach to each person’s situation.

Joshua has been married to his wife Brooke for 13 years, and they have 4 boys and 1 girl. His hobbies include jiu jitsu, strength training, reading, hiking and playing outdoors with the kids. He and his wife love weekend traveling and exploring different styles of lodging and food.
